Yea they sounded real good. to bad the old geezers in the band all decided that Phillip was to young and did not fit in and they fired him. But that is ok , he is already lined up with a new better band. I would imagine that Chester and the Dead Peckers will be dibanded before to much longer, hahaha.

i think the old farts just couldn't handle me. i was the best guitarist in the band. whoever takes my spot has got a tough job. but i guess things work out for the best. i'll be in another band soon. we'll be better that the wild dogs. maybe i will have a little more creative control.

And you'll probably concentrate more on blues, right?

I will definitely concentrate on blues. I have always wanted to have a blues band. I love musicians like eric clapton, stevie ray vaughan, robert johnson, muddy waters, and bb king just to name a few. I would like to cover a lot of their music and a lot of other music. I would like to also do some original music. Blues is really my passion, and as anyone at the festival could see i like to play blues. One thing about blues is you can't just play the blues you have to feel the blues. The band that fired me didn't like the blues like I do. People just watch out there will be a change pretty soon. All you fans just hang on, you will get your wish and get your blues band. I hope to be ready for the next years festival, or maybe sooner. I just need to find a couple of musicians with my taste in music.

What they couldn't handle was the ego that was much bigger than the talent behind it. Mr. Austin didn't have a clue how to play in a band, he wanted to be the band, if that meant turning up and blowing everybody else out so be it. By the way, they handled you fairly well, they fired you.
Grow up..
